Boba Tea House Ann Arbor

Had a really great experience here! As someone with lactose/dairy sensitivities, I learned that all of their milk teas were dairy free and they do offer almond milk substitutions as well. They also had really cute "Instagrammable" backdrops/decor and comfy seating. I also liked how easy it was to find parking in front of the building, the free wifi that they offered to customers, and the ability to customize the sweetness level of the drink. My $5 milk tea ($7 after tipping) was a great size and I enjoyed the Hokkaido Oolong a lot!

Amazing place!! So well decorated, immediately such a cozy feeling. Super kind staff, delicious drinks. (Passionfruit green tea with crystal boba & rainbow jelly on left, kiwi green tea with rainbow jelly on right) Huge variety on the menu!

Please support this family owned business! Boba Teahouse is a wonderful atmosphere right off Jackson Rd in the greater Ann Arbor/Scio area. While there are tons of boba options in the area, Bobs Teahouse’s combination of friendly staff, diverse seating and refreshing atmosphere full of greenery and great use of the open space. Bravo on not only being a stand-out location for all kinds of tea, smoothies, lattes, and more, all inside a super welcoming package that is suitable for all ages. Can’t wait to stop by again once our team is back in town! Can’t wait to tell family and friends in Ohio about this place.

I was in this area so I decided to give this place a try instead of going downtown or north campus. But it didn’t taste that good. The Oolong milk tea I ordered had too much water and the tea flavor was very light. The price here costs more than Coco, Chatime and Tea Ninja and is about the same as Moge, and I think the quality should be better. Employees are very friendly and the decorations are cute but I don’t think I would like another try.

I'm glad to finally have a bubble tea place on the west side of town. Free parking! The quality of the tea was fine, but the boba needs some tweaking. Some of the boba in our drinks had the right level of bite / chewiness, while others were very soft and mushy and disintegrated immediately. They might be mixing boba made this morning with tapioca balls cooked more recently in the afternoon.
